Hatchet QUESTIONS

Each session is typically 2 hours long.

We recommend our players are 10 years old and up. All of our locations allow children to participate, provided they can throw the hatchet in a safe manner and their parent or guardian is present. Please be aware there is a strength restriction. If we feel that a person is not strong enough to throw the hatchet in a safe manner, then we will not allow them to throw. Our priority is always safety first.
Absolutely! There will be a brief safety and 1-on-1 training orientation at the beginning of your session where you will be shown the proper way to throw a hatchet. All of our trained Counselors will be with you the entire time, overseeing every session and keeping score for you.
We do require everyone who throws to wear closed-toed shoes. We cannot allow players to throw with their feet exposed. We do recommend that it is helpful to have a shirt that allows you a full-range of motion for your arms. Other than that, if you want to wear your favorite 80s leggings, we’d love it!
Please arrive at least 15 to 20 minutes before your scheduled session (please account for traffic). This is important so everyone has a great experience. It wouldn’t be fair to interrupt the other guests’ session in order to give your group the safety guidelines and orientation, when the other guests arrived on time and paid the same amount for their tickets. There are no refunds or rescheduling in this scenario.
Safety is our #1 priority. Our throwing lanes are constructed with the focus of the safety of the participants. For each pair of throwing competitors, we have a Counselor whose main responsibility is ensuring the safety protocols for our guests. Only the two active players throwing are allowed within the throwing area. All other competitors must wait in the safety zone outside the lanes. We are very diligent to make sure that everyone is throwing hatchets in a safe manner.

It depends on the location. You are welcome to bring beer or wine (no hard liquor) to our BYOB locations.

Yes, we do offer walk-ins for those who just want to drop on by or don’t have a large enough group for a dedicated session. We encourage people to check our reservation system about 2 hours before they’re planning on visiting. You can also call any of our locations to check for availability. If we have availability, we’d love to have you!

Definitely! You can take all the pictures and videos you want, in fact, we encourage it. You’ll want to remember that first bullseye. Also, be sure to share with us on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter!

We’d love to have non-throwers come and cheer you on! We do ask that you bring a maximum of one non-thrower per throwing guest.

ESCAPE ROOM QUESTIONS

You can book your tickets by choosing your location at campadventureland.com or coming in person during open business hours and book it in advance. Also, feel free to call one of our locations for available dates and times.

For your safety, absolutely not. The door in which you entered from will always remain unlocked. You can leave the game anytime you wish. But we don’t want that, we want you to stay and have an amazing time!

Each room has a limit of how many people can play at one time. There is a chance that you may be placed with other people in a session, unless you booked the whole room for a private game. But hey, meeting new people will add to the overall experience!

To book an entire room, you will need to purchase the maximum capacity for that specific game room.

We welcome all ages at Camp Adventureland! Our games are made for the interactive enjoyment of everyone. We do require an adult (18 or older) to participate with anyone that is 12 and under. We do allow younger players, but some of the game content may be too difficult for them. Also, any participants under the age of 18 will need an adult to sign their waiver. PLEASE NOTE – If any member of your party is 10 years or under, you must purchase all tickets for a room to ensure it is a private game as a courtesy to our other customers.

Each game is designed to be one hour of intense adventure! It really comes down to you and your group’s wits. Solve the puzzles fast enough and you might just accomplish your goal. Plan to spend approximately 15 minutes prior to each game receiving orientation and 15 minutes after each game to review the game and take photos.

We ask that no food or drink is taken into the game rooms. Alcohol is strictly prohibited on our premises. We do have an amazing full-service menu available during your stay at Camp Adventureland before or after your escape room experience.

Photos and videos are not permitted in the rooms. We put in a lot of time and effort into the design and experience of the rooms. We do not want to spoil it for future players. We will gladly take a picture of you and your group after the game!
